Purchased within the European Union and wish to cancel your order? You are entitled to do so, without giving any reason, within the legal deadlines set out below. We explain the rules in force and provide a form to handle your request directly by email.

What the law says

What is the right of withdrawal

Also known as the right of cancellation or cooling-off right: you may cancel your purchase within 60 days (our guarantee) without giving any reason and without additional costs, except possibly the return postage.

How to notify us of your decision

A clear statement is sufficient — by email to contact@caliahwear.com, via the form on this page, or by letter. You do not need to return the item at that point; you have a further 14 days to post it back.

When you receive your refund

We refund the full amount paid, including the original delivery charges, within 14 days of being informed of your decision — we may withhold the amount until we receive the item back or proof of postage.

Who pays for return postage

Unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase, return postage costs are borne by the customer. In the case of a faulty item or our error, Caliah Wear covers that cost.

Conditions for accepting your return

To ensure a swift refund, the returned item must meet the following requirements:

  • No signs of use, washing, or alteration.
  • All original tags still attached.
  • Hygiene seal intact, in the case of underwear, swimwear, or items with a seal applied.
  • Accompanied by the invoice/proof of purchase or order number.
  • Packaged so as to prevent damage during transit.

When the right of withdrawal does not apply

The law provides for exceptions to the right of withdrawal. Returns are not accepted on a change-of-mind basis in the following cases:

  • Personalised, engraved, or made-to-measure items produced specifically for you.
  • Intimate wear, swimwear, or hygiene accessories whose protective seal has been removed or broken.
  • Items in a final sale or clearance, when expressly identified as non-returnable at the time of purchase.
  • Gift cards.

Receive confirmation

We will reply with confirmation of your request and the address to send your return to.

Post the item back

You have 14 days from notifying us of your decision to return the item. Please keep your proof of postage.

Receive your refund

We process the refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the item or proof of postage.

Is the 60-day period counted in working days or calendar days?

Calendar days (including weekends and bank holidays). If the last day of the period falls on a non-working day, it is extended to the next working day.

Can I exchange for a different size instead of requesting a refund?

Yes. Please indicate your preference in the form above and we will process the exchange, subject to availability of the desired size or colour.

Who pays for the return postage?

The cost of return postage is, unless otherwise stated, the customer's responsibility. If the item is faulty or was sent in error by us, we cover the cost.

What if the seller does not refund within the deadline?

If that happens, you may complain to the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) body in your country or contact the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net) in your country, which provides free support to consumers in cross-border disputes.

I purchased outside the EU/EEA — does this right apply to me?

This right of withdrawal derives from European law and applies to purchases made by consumers resident in the EU, Norway, and Iceland. Outside this area, our general returns policy terms apply.

Why do you offer 60 days instead of the legal minimum of 14?

We believe you should have enough time to try your purchase properly and make an informed decision. Our 60-day guarantee goes well beyond the legal requirement because we stand behind the quality of what we sell.
